I suspect that yellow flowers may feature in the Birthday Girl's afternoon, but - sweetheart that she is - she'll be the one doing the giving.
And so these yellow flowers are for her, from a sunshiney afternoon in Bordeaux, where I played among a world of sunflowers...

my dear sweet one, I bought him sunflowers! How well you know me. I twirled them in the packaging so that the heads would lie face up, steams against the ground. They were very pretty.

Oh sweetheart, I read through a zillion 'hope' quotes yesterday, and abandoned them all for some yellow flowers...
That spot in Bordeaux was extraordinary; sunflowers as far as the eye could see. And hope and joy abounded.
