Post of the Week

I have accepted the fact that I now blog intermittently. Not an easy admission...

Post of the week arrived yesterday. A Little Black Cat Card, which turned out to be a thing of great interest to the Little Black Cat.

She spent some time trying to read it, which was tough on two levels: (a) Dubh can't read, and (b) The Card Sender's handwriting can be a... challenge.

Still, Dubh fancied herself a Codebreaker for a brief time.  She's back to playing Kitty Commando with the plants now; normality is restored :-)

Late home?

There are days where clearly, it matters.

News from the cottage

This winter's amaryllis blooms a little late, but its beautiful soft hues are worth the wait.

Dubh continues in her habitual bringing-in of things that she has found outside. Sometimes pretty things, like a shell or a pebble. Sometimes she's on Tidy Towns duty, carrying in plastic wrappers, which she neatly drops into my coffee mug. Grrrrr...

And sometimes, it's kinda random; her own little raggedy art.
